Biography

Ömer Naim Küçük is an Assistant Professor in the Department of International Relations at the Social Sciences University of Ankara. His research primarily focuses on the international political economy and the political economy of the Middle East. He has authored several publications, including “Foreign direct investment and authoritarian resilience: Saudi and Emirati investment in Egypt and the role of foreign policy motivations”, published in British Journal of Middle Eastern Studies, "State Responses to Oil Crises in Oil-Dependent Developing Countries: South Korea and Turkey after the 1973 Oil Crisis", published in the International Journal of Asian Studies, "Linking Economic Diversification and Regional Investments in the Gulf: Saudi and Emirati Investment Trends in Egypt", published in Insight Turkey, and “Adaptive political economy of the Egyptian small and medium enterprises” published in Third World Quarterly.
