In the fourth session of the "Work In Progress" seminars organized by our department, ASBU Department of Political Science and Public Administration faculty member Dr. Senem Ertan presented her article titled "Shame as a Diffusion Mechanism of Minimum Age of Marriage Policies Across the US", which she wrote as a result of her research during her time at Harvard University Kennedy School Women and Public Policy Program within the scope of the Fulbright Research Program.

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of our Republic, ASBU Department of International Relations organized a panel titled "A Centennial Perspective on Turkish Foreign Policy".

The panel discussed the experiences of Turkish Foreign Policy in 100 years and what can be done about the new challenges Türkiye will face in the future.

On December 13^th, 2022 as part of the International Relations Departmental Seminars Prof. Dr. Cemil Aydın from University of North Carolina-Chapell Hill presented his talk entitled "Islam and Politics in Global Perspective". The seminar was held in English. In seminar, the themes of Islam and politics were discussed with their global effects.
