The International Workshop for Academic Cooperation on Conflict and Peace Research which is organized by our University’s International Relations Department in cooperation with Ministry of Foreign Affairs Center for Strategic Research (SAM) and Lomonosov Moscow State University was held on Tuesday, December 5th. In addition to academicians of our university, SAM Vice President Mesut Özcan, Lomonosov Moscow State University Faculty of Political Sciences professors Pavel A. Tsygankov, Anton V. Komleev, and Andrey Y. Shutov attended the program. The significance of cooperation between Turkey and Russia on peace and conflict studies at university level was stressed in the panel that took place after the opening speech of our Rector Mehmet Barca. In the closed workshop that took place afternoon, the details of cooperation between two universities were discussed in detail.
