Asst. Prof. Vanessa Tinker of our Department has parted from our University and she will continue her academic career at Collegium Civitas Department of International Relations in Poland. We thank her for her contributions and wish her success.

The sister of our Department's Prof. Abd al-Fattah El-Awaisi and the aunt of Asst. Prof. Kalid El-Awaisi, faculty member at Faculty of Islamic Studies, Dr. Nima M. El-Awaisi has passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 in Konya. Dr. El-Awaisi, who passed away at the age of 63, has moved from Palestine to Konya 4 years ago for her cancer treatment. 

Prof. Havva Kök Arslan of our Department has retired and parted from our University. She has served as the Department Chair and Dean of Faculty of Political Science during her career at ASBU. We thank her for her valuable contributions and wish a healthy and happy life.
